"I want every piece, no matter the medium or substrate, to share my intensity of purpose, meaning, texture, light and color. The actor Lon Chaney Sr was 'the man of a thousand faces' and I could easily enjoy being the 'artist of a thousand styles.' " James D Waller is an artist and photographer from California who is now living near Albuquerque, NM. Mediums used include oil, air brush, acrylic, and colored pencil; on wood and canvas. Outer space, imaginary dimensions and intense colors are favorite themes. Photographic subjects include a wide variety of scenery, the sky, flowers, aircraft, animals, neon lights and the ocean.
